Sorry everyone, life has been getting in the way of posting. Living here in Gibraltar, I have not been brilliant at taking some time to sit down and record how life is. Perhaps that is because it has been so good recently. Well so good in comparison to what it was when the blog was first started. Who is perfect?

None of us is perfect. Yet all too often the images that we see in shops all around us are of so-called body-beautiful people. Imagine if there were mannequins that represented real people? Earlier this month, there were figures with scoliosis or brittle bone disease modelling the latest fashions in Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. When there is trouble, we will hear about it, don’t worry.

It has been a wonderful Christmas Day which has been only slightly spoiled by people reading reports on Twitter, fearing the worst, demanding to be told, and forgetting that in the bad old days of the Northern Irish Troubles we heard in the morning. 24 hours a day news has spoilt us. As I have just said on Facebook, if there is anything untoward we will hear about it when we wake tomorrow.
