On December 1st-2nd, in honor of World AIDS Day, I’m giving away (as in, “free” 🙂 ) Kindle versions of my book, Holding Breath: A Memoir of AIDS’ Wildfire Days, which recounts my relationship with one of my clients when I was a caseworker for people with AIDS in New York in 1989-1990. (I’d give away the print version as well if I could, but I honestly just can’t afford to do that at this point!)
