Scone recipe

This recipe is the one that my mother uses to make scones. I intend on making some this evening when we will have a warm oven following the casserôle. Ingredients ½ lb self-raising flour; ½ level teaspoon salt, 2 oz. butter; 1 oz caster sugar; ¼ pint buttermilk; Extra milk for brushing. Method Sieve flour and salt into a bowl. Rub in butter finely. Further progress is made on dialysis

This morning, I arrived at the dialysis unit in the Midland Regional Hospital at Tullamore and started to put the lines into the dialysis machine myself. This was done, then it was time to get on to taking away the scabs on my needle entry points in my left arm, and then put the needles in. I am pleased to report that I got both needles in easily this morning. It was easier without a nurse standing by watching.
