It’s still hard to believe our beloved Scholastica isn’t here with us anymore. Not yet six months since she left, and the house still feels her absence so deeply.

She was such a wonderful mummy cat—selectively deaf, her sight fading, but somehow always in the middle of everything. She had this quiet wisdom and stubborn charm that made her a constant, comforting presence.

We miss her every day.
