The Irish Government has directed (see the tweet from An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD below) that those over 70 and with a medical condition should not leave their homes from now and up until Easter Sunday.

Therefore, my little trip out with Andrew to the Spar shop this morning will be my last venture out (apart from dialysis) for a while.

I am thankful that I have my husband Andrew to go and do some shopping for us. I am also thankful that we have a lovely garden in which we can sit as well. Andrew is working from home at the moment, so I can go and sit in the garden so I don’t distract him.
